ShingleShield

How It Works

Two Coats, One Renewed Roof

Liquid Shingle is a two-pass system. The first pass is the workhorse: a penetrating elastomeric coat that soaks into dried-out asphalt, re-adheres loosening granules, and seals the micro-cracks where shingles begin to fail. The second pass is the color topcoat — a UV-stable finish available in multiple roof-appropriate colors that gives the whole roof a uniform, freshly-installed appearance.

The cured membrane is flexible where shingles need it most: at tab edges and butt joints that expand and contract daily. With 400% elongation, the film moves with each shingle instead of cracking along the lines between them.

Tested, Not Just Claimed

This product category attracts big promises, so we lead with third-party testing: UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance — the highest hail rating issued, the same class insurers recognize on premium impact-resistant shingles — and Class A fire performance, the top flame-spread classification for roof coverings. Wind-driven rain and uplift performance is validated under Miami-Dade test protocols.
